With extensive experience working with both youth and adults who are facing various challenges, Ben’s love for all outdoor pursuits and nature is reflected in his holistic approach to therapeutic practice.


Ben is a dedicated and compassionate counsellor who firmly believes in the inherent capacity of individuals to make positive strides in their lives, regardless of their past experiences. Grounded in the philosophy of community and mutual support, Ben is a firm advocate for the restorative and health benefits of connecting with nature.

Experience and Specialisation:

Drawing on extensive experience in the drug and alcohol counselling space with both youth and adults, Ben has worked with a diverse range of mental health concerns and diagnoses. His expertise also encompasses assisting individuals who have undergone significant trauma. Ben is eager to collaborate with those facing mental health challenges, offering guidance and support for those who seek to embark on a journey of positive transformation.


Ben’s counselling sessions are characterised by a conversational and collaborative style. Trust and rapport building are fundamental to his approach, laying the groundwork for deeper therapeutic work. Striking a balance between meaningful conversations and mindful connection with the natural environment, he incorporates bushwalking and other nature-based activities into his sessions to create a holistic framework.
